I Invite you to share your story and be in community with others who are also walking that path.
...but as a deep and sacred mystery to be honored, contemplated, and tended to.
When you work with me — in 1:1 sessions, support groups, or retreats — we will share our stories, learn rituals rooted in the old traditions of grief-tending, challenge the narrative and normalize grief as a sacred, universally human emotion.
We will contemplate it as a rite of passage with the potential capacity to change and shape us into more whole and complex beings with increased depth and compassion.
We will honor sorrow and consider how grief not only breaks open our hearts but also increases the heart’s capacity to hold more, reminding us of what is truly important in life, and enriching our connection to self and others?
we will contemplate grief
…as a rite of passage with the potential capacity to change and shape us into more whole and complex beings with increased depth and compassion.
…and consider how grief not only breaks open our hearts but also increases the heart’s capacity to hold more, reminding us of what is truly important in life, and enriching our connection to self and others?
These sessions are customized to meet your specific needs, often incorporating somatic release and bodywork, intentional practices or remembrance rituals, sound healing, introspective journaling exercises and other modalities designed to nurture your nervous system, explore your relationship with grief and integrate meaning-making into your life.
Feelings of isolation are so common in grief so an important component to moving through and navigating this tender time is connection and community and a safe place to lean into the complicated and overwhelming emotions. Grief retreats are so special because they offer the opportunity for grievers to be with others who “get it”and to process and learn ways to care for themselves in this heartache.
I offer several grief retreats a year.
You are warmly invited to join this very special Grief and Psilocybin retreat!
Offered several times a year, this 4 day immersive, all-inclusive retreat is truly dear to my heart and one of my favorite offerings!
What’s Included
Local grief care events, including walks, circles, and more are offered regularly.
Much like a birth doula supports the passage into life — a death doula supports the dying and their loved ones through the passage of death.
The role of a death doula is to offer non-medical, holistic support – bringing presence, comfort and guidance to ease fear, deepen connection, and honor the unique wishes of the dying person.
Together we create a space of dignity, meaning and peace during this transition.
support may include:
Legacy projects – capturing stories, letters, recordings, artwork, or other creative expressions to preserve wisdom and memory.
Compassionate presence – sitting vigil, offering respite for caregivers, and holding space before, during and after death.
Education and Guidance – gently illuminating the natural stages of dying and providing resources to help loved ones feel informed and supported.
Personalized death plans – weaving individual values, traditions, and beliefs into a clear plan to support comfort, dignity and last wishes.
Comfort measures – soothing body and spirit with nurturing, gentle touch, music, meditation, aromatherapy, or prayer.
Grief support –tending to the grieving heart with ritual, conversation, gentle body work, grief circles, resources, and remembrance practices.
Each offering is personalized to meet the unique needs of dying and their circle of care.
